About how long does it take?
Every project is unique, but generally speaking it takes about 2 weeks to design and develop the website to 90% completed. At this point, we get feedback from you and incorporate that feedback and any requested changes into the polishing stage. Polishing the site and tweaking the SEO takes about 2 weeks.
How much is a flat-rate project?
With a flat-rate build, we build the entire site and then hand it off to you. You would be responsible for annual hosting & domain cost, with whichever host you wish to use. Flat-rate projects vary based on complexity and number of pages, but typically range between $900 and $1200.
Websites I can edit?
We can build your site with a number of available third-party platforms, giving you the flexibility to edit your own website with a drag and drop editor. Options include Weebly, Wix, Bluehost, Shopify, and more! We can also integrate Facebook into your site, making content you post to Facebook business page also publish to your website.
Do I need a new domain name?
Not always, but sometimes it is in your favor to find a better domain for your business. If you have an existing domain, we can do a number of things depending on your needs. We can build your new site on your existing domain and change the host or we could keep your existing domain and make a new domain name while making the old site automatically redirect visitors to the new site (no need for new business cards or email address). Will my site go obsolete?
Negative. With a managed WordPress plan, we keep everything updated and running smoothly. If something breaks, we fix it at no charge to you. On all 3 year contract plans, we also offer a free “site refresh” service when it comes time to renew. We also don’t nickel and dime our clients for small tasks and updates along the way 🙂
